Tony Tregurtha

CEO, President & Co-founder

Tony is a change management expert with three decades’ experience in driving cultural transformations, operational excellence and business process improvement. As CEO and President of Enlighten, Tony is based in Boston and responsible for the Americas and European markets.  His vision is to help clients deliver a quantum-leap improvement in operational performance.

Tony has been single-minded in his career focusing on how to create Operational Excellence. Whether it is developing new concepts, testing new methods or challenging traditional practices, Tony has been pushing new frontiers.

Previously, Tony worked for a range of large businesses internally as a Chief Operating Officer, and externally as an adviser to management. This has led him to have worked with over 100 large institutions in 15 different countries around the globe, including the US, UK, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, China and the Middle East.


John Henderson

Chief Legal Officer

As Chief Legal Officer at Enlighten USA and Enlighten Australia, John manages the legal requirements of the organization, working closely with the Advisory Board, sales and implementation teams.

After John graduated from law school, he established his own law firm, where for 10 years, he developed the skills suitable for assisting early-stage, rapidly growing companies. For the next 17 years, John became a stakeholder in pioneering projects in various industries across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United States, including water desalination, hardwood plantations, telecommunications and software development. He established high-level relationships as an executive adviser for the founders of those small-medium enterprises.


Dr. Ian Boyd

Chief Information Officer

Ian is a respected business leader and software expert with over 30 years’ experience in the information and communication technology sector. Having worked in a variety of project management, software development and senior consultancy roles, Ian brings extensive industry experience to the role of Chief Information Officer at Enlighten.

Ian specializes in the architecture, design and implementation of innovative software products and services. Across every project, he applies strategic thinking to drive operational excellence and sustainable results. Throughout his career, Ian has created cutting-edge computer applications for a diverse range of projects, including document search, television, financial services and records management.


Steven Corry

Chief Technology Officer

Steven is a high-level technology leader with a strong background in solution architecture, software development and agile methodologies. He is a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist and has a 1st class honors degree in Information and Communication technology, specializing in Software Engineering and Network Management.

Steve has designed and implemented a vast number of large scale, high volume, business solutions for large global customers. Outside of the corporate domain, he has architected and built complete end user entertainment applications for consumer devices such as phones, XBOX & touchscreen displays.


Emily McMullen

Executive Vice President - Technology

As the EVP – Technology, Emily reduces complexities in large data sources and delivers seamless integration between client workflow systems and the Enlighten software package. Emily is a business leader with extensive experience in software development and operational improvement.

Emily was drawn to Enlighten because of their hands-on approach to coaching and mentoring clients through the management disciplines required to achieve true operational excellence.  Previously, Emily consulted to Australian government departments and banking institutions to improve legal and operational processes. She graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with Honors in Law and Economics.


Mark Pereira

Chief Operations Officer – India

Mark is a results-driven, management executive with over 30 years of experience in banking, insurance and micro-finance operations. He has been instrumental in setting up and expanding business operations in start-up companies in India and brings in a wealth of experience in adopting technology across operations in various business sectors.

He has an MBA from Boston College in Management Information Systems. As Chief Operations Officer based in Mumbai, India, he manages a team of dedicated consultants who work 24X7 with Enlighten’s clients all over the globe.


Sean Claypool

Chief Lead - Enterprises

Sean is Enlighten North America’s Chief Lead – Enterprises and brings over 25 years of financial services and leadership experience to this new role.

Starting as a mortgage loan officer, Sean quickly moved over to the brokerage industry where he spent 24 years at Charles Schwab.  While at Schwab he worked in both service and operations organizations where he gained extensive experience in business transformation, project implementation, and leadership development.  He held executive level positions in Managed & Advised Account Operations, Operational Hotlines, and Advisor Services.

Most recently Sean was the Vice President, Operations Business Process Transformation.  In that role, he led the implementation of the Pega workflow management system. Also, during his last three years at Schwab, he successfully led the implementation of Enlighten to over 1,800 representatives and created an Enlighten Center of Excellence.

Sean prides himself in working with integrity, passion, partnership, while always maintaining client and team member focus.


Katrina Ward

Chief Lead - Engagements

Katrina is the Vice President of Operations based in EMEA bringing 25 years experience mainly from within the Financial Services Sector.

After graduating from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh, Katrina embarked on a career with GE where she gained her six sigma Black Belt Certification and Master Black Belt qualification. She has gained extensive experience in Business transformation, Project Implementation and Operations Management within large Financial Service Institutions such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Tesco Bank and Barclays Bank.

Katrina was a client of Enlighten and was so impressed with both the company and its product, together with her strong passion for Operational Excellence making the move to join the team was an easy decision. Since joining Enlighten her focus has been on steadily building a successful EMEA team to accommodate the company’s global growth.


Zachary Barnhill

Chief Lead - Technology

As Chief Lead – Technology in North America and EMEA, Zach brings 8+ years of experience in Product Development and Technical Consulting to the Enlighten team. His outside-of-the-box thinking provides Enlighten’s clients with unique approaches to uncovering efficiencies within their business’s data, as well as innovative and customized solutions.

Zach graduated from University of Kansas and began developing financial services products for a Kansas City based start-up company shortly after graduating. His trajectory from there landed him at Enlighten, where he quickly moved up the ladder into a leadership role.

Zach was drawn to Enlighten because of their positive culture, exceptional product, and the passion for finding unique and impactful solutions for their clients. He is excited to continue to develop new solutions for Enlighten’s clients and beyond.


Debra Sulser

Chief Human Resources Officer

Deb is a global leader of human capital who brings more than two decades of talent acquisition, development, and retention expertise to Enlighten. She has led the Human Capital Management (HCM) function at numerous SaaS/professional services firms, supporting teams in the U.S., Europe, South America, Asia and the United Kingdom.

She has deep expertise in HCM and is known for scaling high growth organizations through the lens of providing forward looking strategic counsel with a tactical hands-on approach. In her role at Enlighten, she is committed to attracting bright, passionate, and highly driven individuals to join our team and to perpetuate our collaborative and team based culture.


Sarah Coughlin

Head of EIM

As Head of Enlighten Institute of Management (EIM), Sarah brings to the role an extensive career extending in customer services, contact services and administration, change management and performance coaching.

Sarah has had nearly 15 years holding key management positions both nationally and globally delivering change programs resulting in sustainable performance improvements and behavioral change for the organizations.

Sarah is dedicated to enabling managers’ to manage through knowledge and education. Sarah’s focus on training leaders utilizing EIM’s extensive training courses enables individuals to become the best they can be.


Patrick Ferguson

Chief Lead - Partnering

As Chief Lead – Partnering, Patrick brings over 20 years of process improvement and operations leadership experience to Enlighten. He began his career in consulting with Arthur Andersen, and then moved to GE where he held several leadership roles and earned his Six Sigma Black Belt. He also worked at DST Systems, where he was the client lead for Enlighten’s first US implementation, and held leadership roles at VML and H&R Block. Patrick leads with a customer focused mindset while also driving for continuous improvement.

Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith

Chief Global Delivery Officer

As the Chief Global Delivery Officer, Jeff leads the Enlighten Global delivery team and is responsible for supporting the company’s rapidly growing global business, while continuing to drive new engagements with both current and prospective clients. Jeff’s goal is to work with his team to deliver exceptional benefits to Enlighten’s clients whilst maintaining engagement at all levels of the organization.

Jeff has more than 30 years of experience as a line manager and a change and transformation expert. He brings a well balanced approach to program delivery having worked as both an internal and external consultant whilst also using Enlighten tools and methodology in line management roles. Jeff has been with Enlighten for 17 years, and his comprehensive experience and knowledge will be a valuable fit to assist in the next stage of Enlighten’s global growth plan.


Nicholas Olson

Global Controller

As the Global Controller, Nick leads and oversees the global financial operations of Enlighten in the US, EMEA, and India. With more than a decade experience spanning professional services, consulting, financial services and public accounting, Nick joined Enlighten from Alantra USA, a global investment banking and asset management firm, where he served as Controller and managed the finance and accounting for their US operations. Prior to that, he was the Controller at Keystone Strategy, an economic and strategy consulting group.

Nick is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He was drawn to Enlighten because of the company rapidly growing global business and the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented group of people.


Amanda Windle

Chief Lead – Client Services

As the Chief Lead of Client Services, Amanda Windle focuses on ensuring our existing and prospective clients have a seamless and exceptional experience with the Enlighten Software and Change Management implementations. Amanda focuses on the life cycle of a client’s relationship with Enlighten, from business development, marketing and relationship building, to assessment, implementation, and post project support. She has been a key member of the Enlighten team since 2016 and has served numerous roles in both delivery and back office. Most recently, Amanda spearheaded the Program Excellence department which focuses on ensuring a consistent implementation and post implementation experience for our existing clients.

Amanda has extensive expertise in marketing and takes the lead in positioning Enlighten as a global leader in back-office productivity metrics software, to catapult the business to new heights through business development, marketing and relationship building.
